In our opinion, this region remains one of the best kept secrets in Italy. When you combine the Ionian Sea, grape varieties that grow exclusively in this area, an active volcano and some of the freshest ingredients on earth, you are bound to come away with the experience of a lifetime. For these reasons, we’ve picked Sicily as the 2nd trip in our travel series.
“…On the sixth day, God accomplished His work and, pleased with all the beauty He had created, He took the Earth in His hands and kissed it. There, where He put His lips, that’s Sicily.” Renzino Barbera
The third and final trip in our travel program will be to the infamous wine region of Piedmont. We are currently working on this program. Please stay tuned as we open registration in 2024 for trips beginning in 2025. You can be certain it will be worth the wait...

All of our excursions revolve around great food and wine! Therefore, the activity level is relatively low. That being said, Italy is notorious for its hilltop towns, steep streets and limited number of elevators. We will do our best to accommodate any mobility restrictions but we strongly advise you to get in some good steps before the trip. This will ensure you can participate in all that Italy has to offer. If you walk or bike to stay fit, or if you swim, play golf or do other aerobic activity, you shouldn’t have any trouble on our trips.
At the time of booking, we require a 50% deposit to secure your dates as we will only take one private group per week. We will send you an invoice which you can pay with the credit card of your choice. The deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred one time to another date, as long as the change is made at least 90 days prior to the trip's start date. The balance will be due 90 days prior to your arrival.
The short answer is yes and no. We have carefully curated itineraries that will expose you to the lesser known parts of Tuscany, Sicily and Piedmont. Because of this, much of the week is scheduled in advance and will need to be kept as-is. That being said, we will work with your group to determine which wine regions you want to visit, what types of wineries you're interested in, and also your preferences for lodging.
If you have special requests for the trip, please do not hesitate to ask. We want to make sure you and your group have an extraordinary experience. If there is something we can do to ensure this happens, we'd love to know and we promise to do everything in our power to make it happen!
